Hi, I'm Tyson Evans, the creator of Jabari's Log. I am the founder of Te14 Productions. I am a senior at the University of Montevallo. Jabari's Log is my first short film and the story is so precious to me because I wrote this story with the intention of offering a positive representation of black relationships, along with conveying an allegory of the lack of mental health awareness in black and brown communities. Growing up I have always been a firm believer in the importance of honest and true stories that resonate with people, and I hope Jabari's Log can be the beginning of a long line of great stories under my company. Hello, my name is Davian Smith and I’m from Eufaula, Alabama. I am the Audio Engineer for Jabari's Log. I’m a senior at the University of Montevallo majoring in Mass Communications, with a minor in African American Studies. I really enjoy working on films that showcase and shed light on the African American Culture. Along with helping for Jabari’s Log I have also been a member of the previous three National Championship Fishing teams at the University of Montevallo. This feat etched our names in history as the first ever to win three consecutive titles. Along with working in the film industry I also have dreams of owning an outdoor videography company that films hunting and fishing adventures.
